If you have a passion for all things fishing and managerial retail experience this is the job for you. We are looking for an experienced angler who has an excellent knowledge of all types of fishing, can offer advice to customers, and is passionate about the sport and driving our business forward. The role will be around 40 hours including weekends (5-6 days per week)
Responsibilities include:
· Day-to-day duties of running a fisheries retail shop and lakes
· Advising customers on fishing and products
· Maintaining stock levels and identifying new products to stock
· Lake and land management; monitoring water quality, fish welfare and habitat
· Event organising, such as fishing competitions
· Acting as Bailiff
· Responding to phone calls, online messages and social media
· Keyholder duties
Essential:
· 10+ years fishing experience
· Enthusiastic and positive attitude
· Flexible and reliable
· High standards of honesty and integrity
· Self-motivation and ability to use your initiative
· Local to the fisheries
